As you may have gathered, I am Scott’s brother. His wittier, funnier older brother. Like Scott, I was born and raised in Austin and also graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor degree in finance. After college, I married my wife, Kimbra, and worked in Houston doing tax consulting for a few years before thankfully making my way back to Austin. Since that time I have worked primarily in the areas of audit and tax consulting. Most recently, I was the data manager for an Austin tax consulting firm. 

In 2016, I obtained an MBA from St. Edward’s University with a specialization in finance. After spending years in tax and audit work, I was ready to redirect my career towards the area of finance. When Avant Financial Advisors had a need for support, I was eager to answer the call. I’m very excited to be working with Scott and helping clients achieve their goals.

Kimbra and I have two amazing daughters, Ellie and Katie. Our family enjoys spending lots of time together outdoors with our dogs and chickens. We love Texas and are trying to visit as many Texas counties and state parks as possible.
